The Fall Handbag Review

The season, weather, and your wardrobe are beginning to change, which we take as an indication to introduce a new handbag into the mix!  Above you can see some of our Fall favorites that we currently have in store. It’s all about the little details this season, like the silver studs, skull locks, and shearling fur adornments found on the Alexander McQueen handbags. Also, the return of the mini handbag is upon us; and we’re talking cell phone, credit card, and lipstick only kind of mini! We have several options including the classic black cross body handbag with silver studs by Barbara Bui, or the Marni mini handbag in one of this season’s hottest colors, made with italian leather, silver hardware, and closes with a fun magnetic clasp.

Leigh’s 40th Anniversary Party

This past Thursday, we celebrated our 40th anniversary here at Leigh’s. To commemorate this incredible achievement, we went all out! DJ Adrien Butler spun nothing but hits from the 1970’s, Ms. Batty Davis performed a rendition of ‘Knock on Wood’ in a gold sequin mini dress, Rachel Finan twirled around her hula hoop that hung from the ceiling, a replica of our store in cake form was created by local bakery; Connie’s Cakes, luxe prizes for a select few lucky winners were given out every hour, tons of yummy food catered by Martha’s Vineyard, and of course, champagne! The man who started it all, Mr. Larry Leigh, was in attendance along with our beloved customers and employees. Oh, and did we forget to mention that Andy Warhol and Liza Minnelli also made an appearance? We would like to thank everyone who attended this very special event, celebrating fashion, fun, and the Leigh’s Legacy!

This Just In: Alexander McQueen

This just in!

We are happy to announce that we’re now carrying select creations by one of our favorite designers, Alexander McQueen! We can’t get enough of McQueen’s classic designs, and neither can the rest of the world. In fact, it’s hard to turn a page in a magazine without seeing the hottest starlet with an Alexander McQueen scarf draped around her shoulders and a skull adorned clutch in hand. Everything created underneath the late designer’s brand is exacuted tastefully without losing his signature ‘rock n’ roll’ vibe, that we all have come to expect and love. We’re carrying his scarfs, handbags, and clothing..including this stunning black and red dress.
