Our featured designer this week is self-taught jewelry designer, Julie Vos!
Julie launched her line in 2006 and is known for her use of semi-precious stones and 24k gold plated pieces. Her Spring 2015 collection was inspired by an imperial lifestyle, drawing inspiration from the Palace Versailles and the greek key pattern. We love to layer her pieces, from stacking bangles to doubling up necklaces, for a more bohemian vibe.
Julie’s attention to detail and original designs make her one of the most sought after designers in the market today, and we couldn’t agree more!
Lots of Love,
Julie Vos has been featured in several of our favorite fashion publications:
This spring is all about blush tones, and incorporating this color into your wardrobe is so easy! Well, with the help of Leigh’s that is. Below we’re featuring a perfect go-to look for spring, which consists off; a pair of skinny jeans by J Brand, an Armani camisole, a Rebecca Minkoff quilted handbag, and gold accessories from Elizabeth and James.
A great way to break up a monochromatic ensamble is to add a light weight scarf. Our favorite is the one below by Kate Spade, which is an adorable black, blush, and white colored map of New York.
The Rebecca Minkoff ‘Mini Perry’ tote, with an attached wristlet, is perfect for the girl on the go! Plenty of room for all of your work essentials, without having to compromise your chic style.
The final accesory we are featuring is the Sugar tinted lip treatment. Yes, you read that correctly, we treat lipstick as an accessory because we believe a little color on your lips can not only complete an outfit, but take your look to a whole new level!
Cheers to the weekend, spring time, and blush tones!
Tune into WZZM (Chanel 13) at 5:00 PM tonight to watch our Creative Director, Patrick Plank discuss some of the styles seen on the red carpet at The Oscars. He will be highlighting trends and playing favorites; trust us, this is something you do not want to miss!
Patrick Plank and Stephanie Webb talking about how red carpet fashion effects everyday trends for the rest of the year.
Nude was a color that popped up frequently, it was worn by Kerry Washington, Jennifer Aniston, and Oprah. Another trend was celebs opting for a shorter hem line, this set by Armani is the perfect everyday version of the neutral colored gowns we saw on the red carpet.
Unique statement pieces, like the pewter cuff above, were very popular amongst the jewelry worn.
Taking elements from mens wear adds an androgynous flair, like the Jean Paul Gaultier gown above. Safe to say we have been throughly inspired by Meryl Streep’s bold blazer choice!
A statement necklace adds glamour to a solid colored ensemble.
We hope you enjoy tonights feature and make sure to stop in to try on some of our Oscar inspired looks!
